CAR WASH
For the first time since 1994, Altamont Major Division Baseball won the district tournament and will be advancing to the State Tournament, the next step on the potential road to the Little League World Series in Williamsport. The team will travel to Alamogordo for the week-long tournament starting July 23. Altamont Major Softball continues their success and returns for the third year in a row to the State Tournament, this year in Santa Fe. The Junior Team will represent Altamont for the second year in a row at the Junior State Tournament, which will be held in Clovis this year. Obviously, these trips will be costly for the families of these players so we are writing to ask for your help. The players will hold a Car Wash on Sunday July 18 from 10-2 at Altamont Little League. The players will wash your vehicle in exchange for your donation to help them compete. Please support Altamont and come by Sunday, or travel to an out of town game to cheer them on.

MAJORS, JUNIORS AND SOFTBALL MAJORS
The Altamont baseball Major division boys all star team has won our district tournament and will be joining the Major softball all stars and Junior baseball all stars in representing Altamont in their respective state tournaments. The Major boys state tournament is in Alamagordo starting on July 23. The Junior boys state tournament is in Clovis on July 23rd and the Major Softball state tournament is in Santa Fe on July 16th.

JUNIORS ARE DISTRICT CHAMPS
The Altamont Junior division boys all star team has won our district tournament and will be joining the Major softball all star girls in representing Altamont in their respective state tournaments. The Junior boys state tournament is in Clovis on July 23rd and the Major Softball state tournament is in Santa Fe on July 16th.

DISTRICT CHAMPS!
The Altamont girls softball Major Division All Stars won the district 5 championship and will play in the state tournament starting July 16th!

2010 ALL STARS
The 2010 Altamont All Star rosters along with links to the district 5 brackets are now available.

OPENING DAY
You don't want to miss Opening Day this year. The ceremonies will take place on April 10th. Teams will be lined up for introduction at 10:45 am and Orbit the Isotopes mascot will be joining us around noon. Also, there will be an Alumni mush ball game at 12:45.

UPDATES 03-19-2010
There will be no team parent meeting Saturday Mar. 20th Please stay clear of all construction areas at while at Altamont. If we don't it may postpone completion of the work. Opening Ceremonies are April 10th. Orbit will be there starting around noon.

GENERAL MEETING
Don't forget to attend the appropriate General Membership meeting for your player. For baseball divisions of Tee ball, Minor Machine Pitch I & II, the meeting is Thur. Mar. 11 at 6:30 pm at Desert Ridge MS cafeteria. For all softball and baseball divisions of Minor Player Pitch and above the meeting has been changed to Friday Mar. 12th at 6:00pm at La Cueva HS performing arts center at the front of the school.

TRYOUTS AT ALTAMONT
The tryouts on March 6th will be AT ALTAMONT.The Junior division will be at the Major Field and the Major and Minor divisions will be at the Eubank West Field. See the Calendar page for times. Please park on Holy street to the south of the Altamont Fields.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Registration will be at Double Eagle Elementary at 8901 Lowell. Visa and Mastercard accepted for registration and in the concession stand this year.

You can get the registration form and fill it out early to save time at registration.

Dates are: Jan 23rd and 30th from 9:00am to 2:00pm Jan 26th 5:30 to 7:30

Late registration (not guaranteed you will be placed on a team) Feb. 4th 5:30 to 7:30
