ALLSTAR UPDATE
Congratulations to the Altamont 9 and 10 year old sofball allstar team. These girls are the 2009 District 5 Champs.

Upcoming games on Monday July 6th include: Both our North and South minor teams play at Altamont at 5:30. The Juniors play at Roadrunner at 8pm. The Majors play at Zia LL at 5:30, The 10/11 year olds play at Roadrunner at 5:30. Try to support our other teams when possible.

JR. TOURNAMENT
The Altamont Junior Division Dodgers won the District 5 Post Season Tournament and our Junior Cubs came in as Runner Ups.

MOVE UP!
Altamont's own Jacque Mecham recently received a Move Up Award, presented by Mayor Chavez, for her volunteer work here at Altamont.

The schedules for the 2009 spring season are now available on the schedules page.

DISTRICT CHANGE
Hello Altamont Fans: By now you may have heard that Altamont LL requested a move to District 5 from District 8-this means we will be playing different little leagues for those divisions that interleague and/or play in All Stars. For others it doesn't mean much change. The leagues we will be playing now are as follows:

• Lobo
• Mile High
• Thunderbird
• E. Mountain
• Zia
• Atrisco Valley
• Roadrunner (they moved to District 5 also)

We have been officially granted the transfer to District 5. There are several reasons for the request-including evening out the number of leagues in a district (8 had 11 and 5 had 6), for the most part the leagues we will now play are in the east part of town.
